A Little Background

So, I finally got a tubal reversal last year, April 2, 2012. My then-boyfriend-now-fiance and I literally went half on it! We have been together since 2007, with a lot of muddy water under the bridges along the way. He bought a house in May 2011, and me and the kiddos moved in June 2011 - though he was already working as a contractor overseas.
Yup, so there is problem #1, he was working overseas, so TTC (trying to conceive) was to be a challenge. His first time home was late June 2012, well after the 'wait 6 weeks to TTC' point. Because I had never really had trouble in this area before, I was naive enough to believe that once the factory was open, it would just happen! Boy was I disappointed the next month. We went on our first cruise together in late August. We always timed his visits home to coincide with my projected ovulation time. Mid-September I was yet again disappointed. November came and went, where I turned 39 and he turned 41.

Tick - Tick - Tick.

Christmas 2012, whole family at the house. He proposes! He stayed home for a little bit extra time. The day after he left, my grandmother passed away. Our family matriarch was gone. The stress of that was devastating, but I was still hoping that maybe the loss of one life was replaced with another. What an awesome way to have her legacy move on.

NOPE!!!! NADA!!!!! ZILCH!!!!

No. Second. Line.

Oh, hey Aunt Flow, come on in. You're not really welcome here, but nothing I can do to stop you apparently. Sigh.

Later in January, he's home for good...or at least until he decides to go back one day.

YES!! Now it'll REALLY happen!

Well, 2 cycles down and it ain't looking good!

I had a HSG (hysteriosalpinogram, or something) to make sure tubes were indeed open after the surgery.

Yup, I saw it with my own eyes! The factory is truly open.

So what gives man?
